Traffic Fees: Extension of payment deadline until February 26

Until the last working day of February (26/02/2021) the deadline for the deadline is extended payment of road tax for the year 2021, which normally expired at the end of the year, as well as for the placement of vehicles in voluntary immobility.

Specifically, the published decision concerns the deadline for the timely payment of road tax for the year 2021, which expires on 31-12-2020, as well as for the placement of vehicles in voluntary immobilization, which is extended until the last working day of February. 2021.

While the validity of this decision starts from the date of its signing.

THE DEPUTY MINISTER OF FINANCE

Taking into consideration:

1. The case 1 of subpar. E7 of article one of law 4093/2012 “Approval of the Medium-Term Fiscal Strategy Framework 2013-2016 – Urgent Measures for the Implementation of Law 4046/2012 and the Medium-Term Fiscal Strategy Framework 2013-2016” (A’222), as in force.

2. Article 22 of Law 2367/1953 (A’82), as well as Article 40 of Law 2214/1994 (A ’75), as in force.

3. The par. 1 of article 20 of law 2948/2001 (A’242) and the provisions of par. 1, 2 and 3 of article 35 of law 3986/2011 (A’152), as set and in force with the provisions of article 17 of law 4346/2015 (A’152) and the provisions of article 46 of law 4410/2016 (A’141).

4. The p.d. 142/2017 (A ‘181) “on the Organization of the Ministry of Finance”, as in force.

5. The decision of the Minister of Finance (B ‘1964) under data D5A 1123655 EX / 6-8-2013, “Assignment of collection of Public Revenues to collection bodies through the Services of the company Interbank Systems SA (DIAS SA)” .

6. The decision of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance “Assignment of responsibilities to the Deputy Minister of Finance Apostolos Vesyropoulos” (Β’3051) under the data YPOIK 339 EX 2019 / 18-7-2019

7. Law 4389/2016 “Urgent provisions for the implementation of the agreement on budgetary objectives and corrective reforms and other provisions” (A’94) and in particular article 41 thereof.

8. The need to facilitate the taxpayers for the timely payment of road tax in the year 2021, as well as for the immobilization of vehicles.

9. The finding that from the application of the present causes a small postponement of the time of collection of traffic fees for the year 2021 and does not cause an expense to the detriment of the state budget, we decide:

1. The deadline for the timely payment of registration fees for the year 2021, which expires on 31-12-2020, as well as for the placement of vehicles in voluntary immobility, is extended until the last working day of February 2021.

2. This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its signature.

This decision to be published in the Government Gazette.
