The situation with the coronavirus in Germany is at its worst level and may worsen even more, warns the Robert Koch Institute.
The body that controls the spread of the pandemic in Germany said on Tuesday that the coronavirus is at its highest level to date and has affected all age groups. In addition, there is a risk that the situation will worsen further.
In the last 24 hours in Germany 14,432 new cases and 500 additional deaths were recorded, according to the Institute, which called on the Germans to reduce their contacts to the absolute minimum.
At the same time, the German Minister of Health stated that both the number of cases and the number of deaths from coronavirus are too high, but added that he expects that the vaccinations will have started by the end of December, given that, as he said, the approval of the first vaccines is expected. on December 23rd.
As Jens Spann pointed out, the goal is a normal approval by the European Union, and not an extraordinary one.
On Wednesday, Germany enters a very strict traffic restriction, which will last at least until January 10.
