Travel bans, concentration restrictions, click away and closed businesses compose the scene of this year’s festive season, which will definitely be different. Everything you need to know.
Retail: click away, drive through, seasonal
The retail operates only through the service Click away, ie the receipt from the store. It is reminded that the customer will place the order either through the e-shop or via telephone order and the payment will be made via POS outside the store.
In order to move, a customer must have with him the receipt from the electronic payment or sms where the name of the company and the time of the move will be written. Only one person will be allowed and not families or groups of people to reduce social mobility on the streets, while up to 9 people in line will be allowed, with a distance of at least two meters between them.
The ability to take advantage of his method “Click away” also have closed shopping malls, as the relevant joint ministerial decision allows the provision of the click away service to the companies located in closed shopping centers, and obliges the companies to deliver the orders outside and the total number of people in the queue for all companies does not exceed 9 people. Precisely because the last point actually made the JMC inapplicable to businesses, malls are essentially providing service drive through.
This solution has already been activated by The Mall Athens and the Golden Hall, and whether this system will work will depend on what the companies housed in these malls will do. However, it is possible to deliver orders to customers based on of course appointments in the parking lots of shopping malls, without the customer even getting out of his car.
Concerning the seasonally, the retail businesses of purely seasonal Christmas items are operating, as well as the sale of these items from the supermarkets, until Friday, January 8th.
